Behind the scenes

Accompanied by a talented team hired at Rigbox for this exciting endeavor (Vincent Bayoux & Dao Nguyen ), we meticulously crafted a range of different rigs: we developed a clever feather system for the birds, perfected the intricate wing mechanism of the butterflies, and also designed the quadruped and multi-legged characters. The process proved to be a delightful challenge. The animation team expressed their satisfaction with the level of control they had, resulting in a visually stunning masterpiece despite the small budget of the production.

Story

Butterfly Tale is an animated feature film for the whole family set along the diverse, picturesque, and ever-changing backdrop of the great Monarch butterfly migration. It is a tale of adventure, self-realization and heroism told with humour whose message is that our differences are less important than the bonds we share, and it is in adversity that our true character shines through.
